What is Addition?

For example:

- 7 + 3 = 10
Understanding Totals
The total is the sum of the numbers being added together. Once students are familiar with addition, they can work on identifying totals in different contexts. This can include:
- Adding up the total number of objects in a group.
- Finding the total cost when shopping.
- Summing up points in a game.
